Cíl: Zhodnotit klinické výsledky u pacientů smyopií do -6 dioptrií (D) po refrakční operaci, posoudit jejich stabilitu a porovnat fotorefraktivní keratektomii (PRK) a laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). Soubor a metody: Retrospektivně jsme hodnotili předoperační a pooperační hodnoty refrakce u pacientů s myopií do -6 D operovaných v letech 1999 a 2000. Pacienti byli vyšetřeni standardně před operací, jeden týden, 1, 3, 6, 9 a 12 měsíců po operaci. Soubor tvořilo celkem 542 očí, 452 očí PRK, 90 očí LASIK. Výsledky: Po operaci PRK byla průměrná sférická refrakce po 1 roce -0,35 ± 0,71 D, průměrný astigmatismus -0,63 ± 0,38 D, nekorigovaná zraková ostrost (UCVA) 0,90 ± 0,19, korigovaná zraková ostrost (BCVA) 0,98 ± 0,11. Po operaci LASIK byla po 1 roce průměrná sférická refrakce -0,10 ± 0,81D, průměrný astigmatismus -1,05 ± 0,65 D, UCVA 0,80 ± 0,24, BCVA 0,86 ± 0,21. Závěr: Obě metody se ukázaly jako efektivní a bezpečné ke korekci myopie do -6 D. Výsledky na naší klinice jsou srovnatelné s jinými pracovišti a jsou v jednotlivých letech stabilní. PRK i LASIK dosahují stejných pooperačních výsledků v odstupu 3 až 6 měsíců po výkonu.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical results in patients with myopia up to -6 dioptres (D) after refraction surgery, evaluate their stability and compare photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) and laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). Material and methods: The authors evaluated before and after surgery the refraction values in patients with myopia up to -6 D operated in 1999 and 2000. The patients were subjected to standard examination before operation, one week, 1, 3, 6 and 12 months after operation. The group comprised a total of 542 eyes, 452 PRK eyes and 90 LASIK eyes. Results: After PRK surgery the mean spherical refraction after one year was -0.35 ± 0.71 D, the mean astigmatism -0.63 ± 0.38 D, UCVA 0.90 ± 0.19, BCVA 0.98 ± 0.11. After LASIK surgery after one year the mean spherical refraction was -0.10 ± 0.81 D, the mean astigmatism -1.05 ± 0.65 D, UCVA 0.80 ± 0.24, BCVA 0.86 ± 0.21. Conclusion: Both methods proved effective and safe for correction of myopia up to -6D.The results at our clinic are comparable with other departments and are stable in different years.PRKand LASIKachieve equal postoperative results after an interval of 3 to 6 months following surgery.
