Poruchy příjmu potravy u seniorů ve vztahu k ošetřovatelské diagnostice NANDA International
[Eating disorders in the elderly in relation to nursing diagnoses Nanda International]

Aim: The aim of study was to analyze the published incidence of eating disorders (malnutrition, obesity, and dysphagia) in the elderly and use the acquired knowledge in the diagnosis of NANDA International. Method: To obtain the relevant data have been used licensed and available electronic databases. Found evidence was analyzed and were identified and related factors determining nursing diagnosis by NANDA International edition of 2009-2011. Results: Found research shows that eating disorders in the elderly occur in a large extent. Senior hospital, or other institutional care often show signs of malnutrition and dysphagia. Published studies deal with the issue of obesity in the elderly at home and here shows that older people are overweight and obese. Conclusion: The knowledge gained can be used in the diagnosis of NANDA International and specifically at diagnoses Unbalanced nutrition: less than needed body (00002), Unbalanced nutrition: more than needed (00001), Dysphagia (00103).
