Problematika etiky v profesionálním chování sester v péči o psychiatrické pacienty Etika a profesionalita sester nejen v psychiatrii je velice aktuální téma. V letech 2005 – 2011 proběhl v Psychiatrické léčebně Bohnice v Praze kvalitativní výzkum zaměřen na profesionalitu psychiatrických sester v souvislosti s problematikou etiky. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 94 respondentů. Jako metoda šetření byly použity polostrukturované rozhovory, které byly analyzovány pomocí vícestupňového kódování. Z výsledku studie vyplývá, že sestry se v rámci psychiatrického ošetřovatelství potýkají s etickými problémy v oblasti nedostatku soukromí pacientů, zachování lidské důstojnosti, bezpečnosti a poskytování informací. Projevy etického přístupu sester k pacientům jsou zahrnuty právě v profesionálním chování. Profesionální chování je ovlivňováno vzděláním, osobnostními předpoklady, managementem a organizační kulturou dané organizace. Za profesionála lze považovat zkušenou sestru, způsobilou pracovat bez odborného dohledu, vykazující cit pro psychiatrii, která má teoretické znalosti a praktické dovednosti, kladné vlastnosti a decentní vzhled. Na základě výsledků výzkumu lze konstatovat, že profesionalitu sester je možné ovlivňovat ve vzdělávání sester, včetně kultivace osobnosti budoucích sester a na úrovni managementu.

The matter in hand concerning ethics in the professional behaviour of a nurse in the care of psychiatric patients. The ethics and professional nurse´s behaviour is a very actual topic not only in the psychiatry scope. In theye ars 2005 – 2011 there was performed in the Psychiatric hospital Bohnice, Prague, a qualitative research aimed on the professional behaviour of the nurses in the context with ethic problems. Altogether 94 respondents participated. As the investigation methodt here were used semi-structured discussions that were analysed later by using a multi-stage coding system. As the results of this study came out that the nurses were strugling during their psychiatric care with ethic problems concerning lack of patient´s privacy, preservation of the human dignity, safety and providing satisfaction and necessary information to him. The feeling of emphaty and ethnic approach to the patient are without any doubt included in the nurse´s professional behaviour. The professional behaviour is affected by the education and by the personal prerequisities of the respective person, further by the management and by the local organisation structure. We can consider as a professional an experienced nurse a person, who is capable to work without special supervision, who has a feelings for psychiatry and who has enough of theoretical knowledge and practical proficiency, positive personality traits and also disceet appereance. Based on the results of the research, we can say that it ispossible to havean influence on the nurse´s professionality during the education including the cultivation of the future nurse personality and also on the management level.
