Mentální anorexie (MA) je psychiatrické onemocnění postihující majoritně dospívající dívky. Jednou z charakteristik mentální anorexie je porucha tělesného schématu. Pacienti trpící mentální anorexií jsou nespokojeni s vlastním tělem a může u nich docházet k poruše percepce tělesných rozměrů. Existuje řada studií dokládajících nadhodnocování tělesných proporcí u pacientů s MA. Jiné studie ukazují, že se pacienti s MA hodnotí přesně, nebo se dokonce podhodnocují. Cílem tohoto systematického přehledu literatury je provedení analýzy a shrnutí výsledků studií publikovaných v posledních pěti letech objektivizujících poruchu tělesného schématu u pacientů s mentální anorexií.

Anorexia nervosa (AN) is a psychiatric illness affecting mostly girls during adolescens. Body image disturbance is one of the main characteristics of anorexia nervosa (AN). Anorexia nervosa patients are dissatisfied with their body and they may even have non-realistic body size estimation based on a perceptual disturbance. Some of studies show that anorexia nervosa patients overestimate their body size. Some studies claim that their body size estimation is accurate and some studies even show underestimation of body size by anorexia nervosa patients. The aim of this systematic review is to analyze the results of studies published in last five years examining body image disturbance in the case of anorexia nervosa patients.
