Článek se zabývá aspekty poskytování farmaceutické péče u dospělých pacientů s asthma bronchiale a chronickou obstrukční plicní nemocí, u níž je pro farmaceuta klíčová znalost správné manipulace s inhalátorem a správná inhalační technika. Text se věnuje problematice adherence pacientů k léčbě za pomoci inhalátorů a možnostem její podpory ze strany farmaceuta, uvádí specifická upozornění k používání léčivé látky v inhalační formě. Dále sumarizuje registrované inhalátory na českém trhu s tekutou lékovou formou (roztoky a suspenzní typy inhalátorů), u každého inhalátoru shrnuje informace týkající se poučení pacienta o správném používání, představuje správný inhalační manévr a informace nutné k údržbě inhalátoru. Článek uvádí i přehled použití inhalačních přípravků podle věku pacientů, se zaměřením na specifika dětského věku.

The following article deals with aspects of providing pharmaceutical care in patients with asthma bronchiale and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, for which the pharmacist's knowledge of the correct manipulation technique of inhaler devices is significant. Further, the article presents specific notices to the use of active substances in inhaler form and focuses on the adherence of patients to the treatment using inhalers and its options of support for the patient's treatment by a pharmacist. Furthermore it summarizes all inhalers available on the Czech market containing liquid dosage form (solution and suspension) and for each inhaler presents information relating to proper instructions for patient about correct use correct inhaler technique and maintanace of the inhaler. The article also presents an overview of the use of inhalers according to the age of patients, focusing on the specifics of childhood.
