Vliv mutace KRAS jako potenciálního biomarkeru pro léčbu trifluridin/tipiracilem – kazuistika pacienta s metastazujícím kolorektálním karcinomem

Trifluridin/tipiracil je schválen v monoterapii ve třetí linii léčby refrakterního metastazujícího kolorektálního karcinomu bez ohledu na mutační stav RAS s výrazným benefitem prodloužení celkového přežití oproti placebu a s výborným příznivým profilem bezpečnosti. Prezentujeme zde kazuistiku pacienta s metastazujícím kolorektálním karcinomem a mutací genu KRAS v kodonu 13, u něhož bylo po podání trifluridin/tipiracilu s výborným účinkem a dobrou tolerancí dosaženo dlouhodobé stabilizace nemoci.
Trifluridine/tipiracil is approved for monotherapy in the third-line treatment of refractory metastatic colorectal cancer regardless of RAS mutational status, with a significant overall survival prolongation benefit over placebo and an excellent favorable safety profile. We present here a case report of a patient with metastatic colorectal cancer and a KRAS gene mutation at codon 13 who achieved long-term disease stabilization after trifluridine/tipiracil administration with excellent effect and good tolerability.
