V období 1987 -1997 bylo na II. chirurgické klinice Masarykovy univerzity v Brně provedeno 187 resekčních výkonů na játrech pro benigní a maligní onemocnění jater. Nemocniční mortalita operovaných byla v posledních 2 letech 6,6 %. Jedním z faktorů, které mají vliv na pooperační morbiditu a mortalitu, je počet operovaných S chronickým difuzním onemocněním jater. Pro zhodnocení funkční kapacity jater a možnosti velikosti resekce autoři používají vyšetření retence indocyaninové zeleně (ICG). Hodnota ICG do 6 % neomezuje velikost resekce, do 15 % dovoluje bisegmentektomii nebo menší výkon, do 20 % segmentektomii nebo menší výkon, do 35 % povrchní excize.

During 1987 -1997 at the Second Surgical Clinic of the Masaryk University in Brno 187 liver resections were made on account of benign and malignant liver disease. The hospital mortality of the operated patients was 6.6 % during the last two years. One of the factors which influence the postoperative morbidity and mortality is the number of patients with chronic diffuse liver disease. For evaluation the functional capacity of the liver and possible extent of resection the authors use examination of indocyaninin green retention (ICG). An ICG value up to 6 % does not restrict the extent of resection, up to 15 % it permits bisegmentectomy or a smaller operation, up to 20 % segmentectomy or a minor operation, up to 35 % a superficial excision.
