Autoři demonstrují pozorování tří nemocných s disekcemi dvou nebo více intrakraniálních tepen. Kromě vertebrobazilámího řečiště byla u dvou nemocných postižena jedna či obě vnitřní karotidy nebo až jejich větve. Kombinace MR tomografie (MRT) s MR angiografií (MRA) přispívá k podrobnejší diagnostice disekcí a jejich komplikací a je vhodná i pro sledování jejich vývoje. Od širšího využití těchto technik lze perspektivně očekávat přiblížení úspěšné diagnostiky intrakraniálních disekcí jejich skutečnému výskytu.

The authors demonstrate observations of three patients with dissections of two or more intracranial arteries. In addition to the vertebrobasilar circulation in two patients one or both internal carotid arteries or their branches were affected. A combination of MR tomography (MRT) with MR angiography (MRA) contributes to a more detailed diagnosis of dissections and their complications and is suitable also for their follow-up. From a wider use of these techniques we may expect perspectively that successful diagnosis of intracranial dissections will be closer to their actual prevalence.
