Dextrins [dextriny]
A group of low-molecular-weight carbohydrates produced by the hydrolysis of STARCH or GLYCOGEN. They are mixtures of polymers of D-glucose units linked by alpha-(1->4) or alpha-(1->6) glycosidic bonds.
