V současnosti nabývá tvorba bezbariérového webu stále většího významu. Bezbariérový web je jakýmsi standardem slušnosti a plně v souladu se základní myšlenkou Internetu jako univerzálního média pro všechny. V současné době existuje několik metodik (českých i zahraničních), které se tvorbou bezbariérového webu zabývají. Tvůrce stránek zároveň musí počítat s tím, že ne každý má k dispozici stejné zobrazovací a vstupní zařízení. Naší prací bylo vytvořit multimediální materiál o tvorbě, správě a provozování bezbariérového webu, který bude využitelný studenty prezenčního i dálkového studia.
At present, the design of barrier-free websites has been gaining ever higher importance. Such a barrier-free website represents a kind of a standard of courtesy, and it fully complies with the fundamental idea of the Internet as a universal medium for all. Currently, several methodologies are available (both Czech and foreign), which are engaged in the design of barrier-free websites. At the same time, the website designer must take into account that not everyone has the same imaging and input device. In our work, we have focused on developing multimedia materials on the design, administration and operation of a barrier-free website, to be used by students of daily and distance study.
