Príspevok sa zaoberá problematikou uplatňovania profesijných rol sestry v ošetrovateľskej praxi. Cieľom práce je zistiť skúsenosti a názory sestier s uplatňovaním profesijných rol počas ošetrovateľskej praxe. Praktická časť pozostáva z kvantitatívneho výskumu, realizovaného prostredníctvom štruktúrovaného dotazníka vlastnej konštrukcie. Na overenie hypotéz sme použili inferenčnú štatistiku. Pred samotným výberom testu bola zisťovaná normalita rozloženia dát premenných pomocou testov normality - Shapirov-Wilkovým testom a Kolmogorov-Smirnovým testom. Pre porovnávanie dvoch skupín v jednej premennej bol použitý neparametrický Mann-Whitneyho U test. V prípade porovnania odpovedí v rámci jednej skupiny bol použitý Chí kvadrát test. Vychádzajúc z teoretických zdrojov i výsledkov analýzy výskumu možno konštatovať, že je potrebné rozvíjať všetky profesijné roly sestry. Z výsledkov výskumu je zrejmé, že nie všetky roly sestry sú v ošetrovateľskej praxi plne aplikované.
This contribution deals with the issue of application of professional roles of a nurse in nursing practice. The goal is to find out nurses' experiences and opinions concerning application of professional roles during nursing practice. The practical part includes quantitative research, executed through astructured, self-constructed questionnaire. Weused inferential statistics to verify the hypotheses. Before a test was chosen, the normality of data distribution was analyzed through normality tests the Shapiro-Wilk test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. For a comparison of two groups in one variablewe used the nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test. In case of a comparison within one group we used the chi-squared test. Based on both theoretical resources and the results of the questionnaire analysis, we can conclude that it is needed to develop all professional roles of a nurse. It is clear from the results of the research that not all roles of a nurse are fully applied in nursing practice.
