Východisko: Inovácie reagujú na neplánované potreby uplatnením nových spôsobov myslenia a práce s oso- bitným zameraním na potreby. Zavádzanie inovácií do praxe je závislé od zručností manažéra. Cieľom pro- jektu bolo zistiť, aký význam pripisujú respondenti manažmentu zmien v ošetrovateľstve, identifikovať ini- ciátor a prekážky zmien. Súbor a metódy: Prieskumu sa dotazníkovou metódou zúčastnilo 112 respondentov, sestier manažérok. Zamerali sme sa na úroveň vedomostí sestier o manažmente ošetrovateľstva, o manažmente zmien, inováciách v ošetrovateľstve v samotnej ošet- rovateľskej praxi, príležitostiach a prekážkach pri im- plementácií inovácií. Výsledky: Zistili sme, že zmeny sú dôležité pre usku- točňovanie pokroku v ošetrovateľstve pre väčšinu sestier, z prekážok dominuje nedostatok finančných prostriedkov na realizáciu inovácie. Nezistili sme štatisticky významný rozdiel vo vnímaní prekážok pri zavádzaní inovácií medzi sestrami pôsobiacimi v Českej republike a na Slovensku. Záver: Odporúčame podporovať sestry v oblasti im- plementácie zmien a nových poznatkov do praxe po- ukázaním na význam ošetrovateľskej praxe založenej na dôkazoch.
Background: Innovation responds to unplanned needs by applying new ways of thinking and working with a special focus on needs. Putting innovations into practice depends on the skills of the manager. The aim of the project was to find out what importance the respondents attach to the management of changes in nursing, to identify the initiator and obstacles of changes. Sample and methods: 112 respondents from nurses - managers took part in the survey using the questionnaire method. We focused on the level of knowledge of nurses abo- ut nursing management, about change management, innovations in nursing and in nursing practice, oppor- tunities and obstacles in the implementation of inno- vations. Results: We found that changes are important for making progress in nursing for most nurses, the obstacles being dominated by a lack of funding to implement innovation. We did not find a statistically significant difference in the perception of barriers to the introduction of innovations between nurses working in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Conclusion: We recommend supporting nurses in the implementation of changes and new knowledge into practice by pointing out the importance of evidence- based nursing practice.
