Autori sa v článku venujú špecifikám terapie stresovej inkontinencie moču a starostlivosť o ženu v kontexte ošetrovateľstva. Stresová inkontinencia si zaslúži zvláštnu pozornosť, nakoľko ňou v dôsledku odlišných anatomických pomerov trpia takmer výlučne ženy a súčasne tvorí 50 % inkontinencií moču u žien. V úvode je stručne opísná stresová inkontinencia moču a jej diagnostika. Autori v jadre podrobnejšie vysvetľujú samotné špecifiká terapie močovej inkontinencie a následnú ošetrovateľskú starostlivosť o ženu so stresovou inkontinenciou moču a porovnanie štúdií s úspešnosťou terapie močovej inkontinenciev zahraničí. Záver publikácie ponúka najčastejšie aktuálne ošetrovateľské diagnózy vo vybraných doménach u pacientky so stresovou inkontinenciou moču.

The authors discuss the specifics of stress urinary incontinence therapy and care for women in the context of nursing. Stress incontinence deserves special attention, as it affects almost exclusively women due to different anatomical conditions and at the same time accounts for 50% of urinary incontinence in women. The introduction briefly describes stress urinary incontinence and its diagnosis. The authors explain in more detail the very specifics of urinary incontinence therapy and subsequent nursing care for a woman with stress urinary incontinence. The conclusion of the publication offers the most common current nursing diagnoses in selected domains in a patient with stress urinary incontinence.
