Deník péče o pacienta na anesteziologicko- resuscitačním oddělení (ARO), jednotce intenzivní péče (JIP) je určen pacientům, kteří se ocitli v ohrožení života a strávili tak nějaký čas na lůžku intenzivní resuscitační péče ARO/JIP. Vzhledem k tomu, že tito pacienti jsou často v umělém spánku, se může stát, že tato změna může narušit vnímání nebo paměť pacienta. Někteří pacienti mají zkreslené představy o délce pobytu na ARO/JIP a někteří z nich si z této doby nepamatují vůbec nic. Deník pro pacienta píše rodina a personál za účelem porozumění a zorientování se v čase, který strávil na ARO/JIP. Pacient si jej může během zotavování číst a porozumět tomu, co se s ním stalo. V tomto náročném období může deník pomoci i rodině pacienta, je prokázáno, že může pomoci snížit výskyt nežádoucích projevů post – intenzivního syndromu (PICS). Cílem průzkumu bylo zhodnotit efekt zavedeného Deníku péče o pacienta na ARO, JIP na Klinika anesteziologie, resuscitace a intenzivní medicíny Fakultní nemocnice Ostrava (KARIM FNO).

The diary of patient care in the ARO, ICU. is intended for patients who found themselves in danger of life and thus spent some time in the bed of intensive resuscitation care in the D AR/ ICU. Since these patients are often in artificial sleep, it is possible that this change may disrupt the patient’s perception or memory. Some patients have distorted ideas about the length of stay in the DAR/ICU, and some of them do not remember anything from this time at all. A diary is written for the patient by the family and staff in order to understand and navigate the time spent in the DAR/ICU. The patient can read it during recovery and understand what happened to him. In this difficult period, the diary can also help the patient’s family, it is proven that it can help to reduce the occurrence of undesirable manifestations of post-intense syndrome (PICS).
