Autoři se na souboru 23 pacientů s akutní hemoragicko-nekrotickou pankreatitidou snaží nalézt jednotící kritérium přežití. Ze sledování se zdá, že pacienti s touto těžkou formou onemocnění, u nichž došlo k rozvoji renální insuficience, ve 100 % zemřeli i za použití všech dostupných terapeutických postupů včetně CVVHD a CRAI.

The authors try to find out a single unifying criterion predicting survival of patients with acute haemorrhagic necrotising pancreatitis, based on a set of twenty-three patients. The followed parameters yield that patients with the most severeform of pancreatitis have a mortality of 100 per cent, even if all therapeutic possibilities including CVVHD and CRAI had been implemented.
