An ETA (electrothermal atomization)-AAS method of Cd determination in plants was validated by determining its accuracy (under repeatability conditions), trueness, calibration curve and linearity, limit of detection, limit of determination and combined standard uncertainty. The results showed that the method is suitable for the determination of low cadmium contents in vegetables.
