Bylo uskutečněno šetření o vývoji počtu impaktovaných časopisů z oboru ošetřovatelství a o vývoji počtu domácích recenzovaných neimpaktovaných časopisů z tohoto oboru. V rámci šetření byla použita technika analýzy písemných dokumentů. Počty časopisů s impakt faktorem (IF) z oblasti ošetřovatelského výzkumu byly zjišťovány z databáze Journal Citation Reports (JCR), a to ve dvou edicích, ve kterých je ošetřovatelský výzkum sledován – JCR Science Edition (Sci. Ed.) a JCR Social Science Edition (Soc. Sci. Ed.). Recenzované neimpaktované časopisy byly sledovány dle Seznamu domácích recenzovaných neimpaktovaných časopisů vydávaném Radou pro výzkum, vývoj a inovace. Nárůst počtu časopisů s IF v ošetřovatelství stále pokračuje, procentuálně převyšuje ostatní medicínské obory a dosaženým počtem se po několika letech již zařazuje mezi tradiční medicínské disciplíny. Počet oficiálně uznaných domácích časopisů věnujících se ošetřovatelství zůstává malý. V Seznamu domácích recenzovaných neimpaktovaných časopisů vydávaném Radou není v r. 2010 ani dříve uveden žádný časopis, který by se věnoval výlučně ošetřovatelství, pouze dva časopisy, které se věnují více zdravotnickým oborům, přičemž ošetřovatelství uvádějí na prvním místě. Jedná se o časopisy Kontakt a Profese on-line. Pro r. 2011 Rada aktualizovaný Seznam již nevydala a nepočítá s tím ani pro r. 2012. Možnosti publikování výsledků ošetřovatelského výzkumu v domácích recenzovaných neimpaktovaných časopisech zůstávají nadále omezené, velmi pravděpodobně i v důsledku toho, že Rada pro výzkum, vývoj a inovace nepokračuje v původně avizovaných každoročních aktualizacích Seznamu těchto časopisů.

Development of the number of journals in the field of nursing having impact factors and of the number of domestic journals in this branch having no impact factor but requiring reviews was investigated. Within the scope of the present investigation, the technique of analyzing written documents was employed. The numbers of journals having the impact factor (IF) and publishing works in the field of research of nursing were determined from the databases of the journal citation reports (JCR) in two editions including the research of nursing – JCR Science Edition (Sci. Ed.) and JCR Social Science Edition (Soc. Sci. Ed.). The journals without impact factor but requiring reviews of manuscripts were monitored according to the List of domestic journals without impact factors but requiring reviews of manuscripts published by the Council for Research Development and Innovation. The increase in the number of journals with impact factor aimed at nursing is ever continued, its rate in percent exceeds other medical disciplines and in terms of this number, after several years, nursing took its position among traditional medical disciplines in terms of the number achieved. The number of officially recognized domestic journals aimed at nursing is still low. In the List of domestic journals without impact factors, but requiring reviews of manuscripts, as published by the Council, there is no journal mentioned in 2010, which would be exclusively focused on nursing and there are two journals aimed at a number of healthcare disciplines, nursing being declared in the first position. These are the journals Kontakt and Profese on-line. The Council has already not issued any updated List and also does not intend to do so for 2012. Possibilities of publishing results of the nursing research in domestic journals without impact factors but requiring reviews of manuscript still remain limited, most likely also due to the fact that the Council for the research development and innovation does not continue providing originally intended annual updating of the List of these journals.
