Bylo uskutečněno šetření o vývoji impaktovaných časopisů v oboru ošetřovatelství za období let 2011–2013, které navazuje na obdobné šetření zpracované za roky 2005–2010. Tak jako v předchozím časovém úseku i v posledních letech zaznamenáváme nárůst počtu časopisů v oboru ošetřovatelství. Za období let 2002–2013 se počet nově zařazených titulů rozrostl z 34 až na 109 titulů. Tato skutečnost svědčí o rostoucím významu ošetřovatelství a ošetřovatelského výzkumu pro stále se zvyšující kvalitu péče o pacienty na všech úrovních. Zároveň nabízí větší možnosti publikování odborným pracovníkům této oblasti ve významných světových periodikách.

The investigation concerning the development of impact journals in the field of nursing for the period 2011–2013 was carried out. This investigation follows a similar survey carried out between 2005 and 2010. In recent years, we can see the growth in the number of journals in the field of nursing, as it was during the previous time period. For the period 2002–2013, the number of newly listed titles grew from 34 to 109 titles. This fact evidences the growing importance of nursing and nursing research in order to permanently increase the quality of patient care at all levels. At the same time, it offers professionals in this field more options for publishing in the world major periodicals.
