V článku jsou uvedeny výsledky klinického sledování účinnosti adapalenu v léčbě acne vulgaris I. a II. stupně. Studie proběhla v období od února 2015 do června 2015 ve 25 dermatologických pracovištích České republiky. Celkový počet pacientů činil 223. Léčba trvala 8 týdnů se 4 klinickými kontrolami. Studie prokázala účinnost monoterapie adapalenu, kdy po 8 týdnech léčby došlo ke snížení zánětlivých projevů akné o 67 % a nezánětlivých projevů o 62 %. Rovněž bylo prokázáno statisticky významné snížení stupně akné. Současně byly zhodnoceny nežádoucí účinky, adherence k léčbě, kvalita života a informace poskytnuté pacientům. Účast ve studii řádně ukončilo 211 pacientů.

I. part of a non-interventional clinical trials evaluating efficacy of adapalene monotherapy in patients with Acne vulgaris Article presents results of clinical research on treatment effectiveness with adapalene creme or gel in therapy of Acne vulgaris grade I.–II. Research was conducted in period from February 2015 to June 2015 at twenty five Departments of Dermatology in Czech Republic. Total number of patients was 223. Treatment took place 8 weeks including four clinical examinations. The study demonstrated the efficacy of adapalene monotherapy when after 8 weeks of treatment there was a reduction of inflammatory acne symptoms by 67 % and non-inflammatory symptoms by 62 %. It was also demonstrated a statistically significant reduction of the degree of acne. Side effects were evaluated, adherence to treatment, quality of life and the information provided to patients. Participation in a study of 211 patients properly terminated.
