V článku je odprezentovaná kazuistika 46-ročnej obéznej pacientky s diabetes mellitus 2. typu, s iniciálne horšou compliance, postupným nárastom hmotnosti a rozvojom epizódy depresie. Pri správnej indikácii amožnosti pridania liraglutidu k stávajúcej terapii má táto kombinácia vplyv nielen na kompenzáciu diabetu, ale i redukciu hmotnosti a s ňou súvisiacu morbiditu a kvalitu života.

The case report of 46 years old obese patient with the type 2 diabetes mellitus, worse initial compliance, gradual weight gain and episode of a depression is presented in the paper. If there is a proper indication and a chance to add liraglutide to the current treatment, this combination can affect not only the compensation of diabetes but also a weight loss and their corresponding morbidity and a quality of life.
