Pacienti mají k dispozici nové účinné látky, které jsou mezinárodním standardem ve 2. linii léčby mRCC. Největším přínosem pro ně bude, pokud budou léčeni oběma moderními léky – to je v ČR ve 2. linii nejprve multikinázový inhibitor a následně imunoterapie. Přesto vždy sestavujeme léčebný algoritmus pro individuálního nemocného a léčba by měla být ušita jemu na míru.

Patients can be treated with new active substances that constitute internationally accepted treatment standard in second-line therapy of patients with mRCC. The patients will benefit most when treated with both contemporary drugs – in the Czech conditions this means the use in the second line of first the a multikinase inhibitor followed by immunotherapy. Yet we always build a treatment algorithm for an individual patients and his or her therapy should be tailor-made.
