Nutričná liečba obezity musí spĺňať odborné medicínske kritériá, ktoré boli stanovené na základe medicíny dôkazov. Pacienta edukuje dietologický profesionál s pravidelne aktualizovaným vzdelávaním. Príslušné vzorce a kalorické obsahy redukčných diét sú dané príslušnými autoritami ako o nich pojednáva text článku. Predstavené sú posledné aktualizácie medicínskej nutričnej liečby obezity, ako ich uvádzajú posledné odporúčania Európskej asociácie pre štúdium obezity (EASO – European Association for the Study of Obesity).
Nutritional treatment of obesity must meet professional medical criteria that have been established on the basis of evidence-based medicine. The patient is educated by a dietetic professional, with regularly updated education. The relevant formulas and caloric contents of reduction diets are given by the relevant authorities as discussed in the text of the article. The latest updates of the medical nutritional treatment of obesity, as indicated by the latest recommendations of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), are presented.
