Je podán přehled mechanismů přirozené, a zejména získané rezistence bakterií k aminoglykosidům. Největší prostor je věnován enzymatické modifikaci molekul aminoglykosidových antibiotik. Jsou uvedeny příklady nejčastějších mechanismů a jejich kombinací u vybraných bakteriálních druhů. Druhá část článku je zaměřena na sledování stavu rezistence k aminoglykosidům v ČR a možné příčiny vysoké rezistence u nás. Srovnání našich výsledků s výsledky rezistence v ostatních evropských zemích je pro nedostatek hrubých dat velmi obtížné.

The mechanisms of natural and, in particular, acquired resistance of bacteria to aminoglycosides are reviewed. Enzymatic modification of molecules of aminoglycoside antibiotics is dealt with in detail. Examples are given of the most frequently occurring mechanisms and their combinations in several bacterial species. The second part of this paper is focused on the surveillance of bacterial resistance to aminoglycosides in the Czech Republic and the possible causes of this resistance. A comparison of our results concerning bacterial resistance with the findings in other European countries is very difficult because of the lack of relevant data.
