The demand for palliative care is constantly growing and it is so well. It is due to the growing number of people with incurable diseases (given the demographic increase in population, increasing life expectancy and the growing incidence of malignant, infectious and degenerative, "civilization" diseases). At the same time, palliative care is no longer perceived as a kind of scarecrow and a reminder of dying, and more and more professionals, as well as lay people, are realizing its need and the unquestionable benefits it brings to both the sick and their families.
