Poskytovanie ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti na pracoviskách intenzívnej starostlivosti vyžaduje od sestier vysokú odbornosť, samostatnosť a kritické myslenie. Mimoriadne dôležitým bodom je začleniť sestry absolventky do ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti o kriticky chorého pacienta. Vzhľadom na vysokú náročnosť práce a pracovnú záťaž v intenzívnej starostlivosti je dôležité, aby mali sestry absolventky väčšiu úroveň podpory pri zvládaní uspokojovania potrieb kriticky chorých pacientov. Providing nursing care in workplaces intensive care requires high level of expertise, autonomy and critical thinking. An extremely important point is to include graduate nurses in the nursing care of a critically ill patient. Considering the high demands of the work and the workload in intensive care, it is important that graduate nurses have a high level of support in meeting the needs of critically ill patients. The aim of the paper is present the results of a survey that was focused on the adaptation process of nurses in workplaces intensive care.
