Práce rozebírá problematiku stomatologického ošetřování nemocných s chorobami jícnu, žaludku a střev. Upozorňuje na hlavní rizika, změny v ústní dutině a celé orofaciální oblasti, přínos těchto změn k diagnostice základního onemocnění, dále upozorňuje na případné kontra- indikace léků a některé modifikace běžného stomatologického ošetření.

The authors analyze the problem of dental treatment of patients with diseases of the oesophagus, stomach and bowels. They draw attention to the main risks, changes in the oral cavity and entire orofacial area, the contribution of these changes to the diagnosis of the basic disease. They also mention possible contraindications of drugs and some modifications of current dental treatment.
