Autorka se v textu zabývá významem a úlohou komunikace ve vztahu mezi sestrou a pacientem/klientem. Klade důraz na nácvik a rozvíjení efektivní komunikace pomocí speciálně zaměřených aktivit (cvičení, her) ve vhodně zvolené skupině osob. Studenti jako členové takovýchto skupin tak mají možnost získat nový pohled na vlastní, již zaběhnuté způsoby v interpersonální komunikaci, které pak mohou využít v praxi.

The author deals in the text with the importance and the function of communication in the relation between the nurse and the patient/client. She lays stress on the rehearsal and the cultivation of the effective communication by means of the specifically oriented activities in the appropriately elected group of the persons. The students as members of these groups have possibility to obtain new view on thein own usual styles in the interpersonal communication, which they can use in the practise.
