Příspěvek se zabývá zkoumáním vztahu mezi úrovní intelektového potenciálu (vrozené inteligence) a dosaženou úrovní osvojení vybraných pohybových dovedností sportovní gymnastiky v počátečních stádiích motorického učení (po osmi týdnech nácviku) u studentů tělesné výchovy FPE ZČU v Plzni. Obsahuje teoretický rozbor základních pojmů (intelektové schopnosti, motorické učení, intelektový potenciál) a charakteristiku testu T.I.P. aplikovaného na výzkumný soubor. Další částí je pak analýza naměřených dat a zjištěné závěry. Jedná se o součást výzkumu na téma: Tvorba gymnastických pohybových dovedností v procesu motorického učení, který probíhá od roku 2004.

The article aims at relation between the level of intellect potencial (inherent intelligence) and the level of acquiring of choosen sport gymnastic motor skills in the motor learning initial phases (after 8 weeks of training). Students of physical education at FPE ZČU in Pilsen were engaged in our research and they were divided according three teaching methods into groups. Each group has received training in three identical acrobatic exercises. For testing of inherent intelligence we used T.I.P. test. The article contains analysis of the basic terms, characteristics of the test T.I.P. and another part of it is analysis of measured data and conclusions. Presented project is a part of the research program: The creation of gymnastic motor skills in motor learning process.
