Kazuistika diabetika 2. typu ve věku 66 let s těžkou senzomotorickou neuropatií, kterému zavedení analoga glargin (Lantus) umožnilo zlepšit kompenzaci diabetu, odstranit původně přítomné noční hypoglykémie a v kombinaci s další komplexní léčbou vedlo ke zlepšení bolestivé formy neuropatie a celkové kvality života.
A case of a 66 years old patient with diabetes mellitus type 2 with severe sensomotor neuropathy, who achieved a better control of diabetes mellitus, elimination of previously present night hypoglycemias, and combined with other complex treatment an improvement of painful neuropathy and quality of life after the introduction of analogue glargine (Lantus).
