Lokální terapie popálené plochy se dá rozdělit mezi metody konzervativní a chirurgické. Konzervativní metody se používají zejména u povrchních popálenin, u kterých je možná spontánní reepitelizace defektů. Chirurgická léčba hlubokých popálenin spočívá zejména v odstranění nekrotické kůže – nekrektomii a uzávěru vzniklého defektu dermoepidermálním štěpem.
Local therapy of burned areas can be differentiated as conservative and surgical methods. Conservative methods are used especially in the case of superficial burns where there is possible spontaneous reepitalization of the defects. The nature of the surgical treatment of deep burns lies in removal of the necrotic skin and closure of the wound by dermo-epidermal graft.
