Penilní blok je technicky a časově nenáročnou metodou regionální anestezie, která přináší vysokou míru účinnosti a bezpečnosti. Je vhodný i pro polymorbidní pacienty. Penilní blokáda zkracuje dobu hospitalizace, umožňuje provádět výkony ambulantně a snižuje pooperační spotřebu analgetik.
Penile block as a regional anesthesiological procedure is easy and time non-consuming method, which brings high level of efficacy and safety. It is useful for polymorbid patients. Penile block does shorten length of hospital stay, allows ambulatory procedures and lowers analgesics consumption postoperatively.
