Perifolliculitis abscedens et suffodiens je vzácné chronické onemocnění neznámé etologie postihující kštici a šíji. Je řazeno k acne tetradě a vyskytuje se zejména u mužů nad 20 let. Ke stanovení diagnózy je vždy nutné histopatologické vyšetření. Lékem první volby je perorální izotretinoin. Další možnosti terapie jsou chirurgické zákroky, systémová antibiotika, dapson a biologické preparáty (anti-TNFα). V tomto kazuistickém sdělení je popsán případ pacienta úspěšně léčeného izotretinoinem.
Perifolliculitis abscedens et suffodiens is a rare chronic dermatosis of unknown origin that affects hairy scalp and neck. It is a part of acne tetras and is present mostly in men over 20 years of age. Histopathology is necessary to asses the diagnosis. Peroral izotretinoin is the first choice of the treatment. Other therapeutic modalities include surgery, antibiotics, dapsone and biological therapy (anti- TNFα). A case of man treated succesfully with izotretinoin is described.
