Kazuistika popisuje případ 73letého pacienta, který byl indikován k implantaci totální endoprotézy pravé kyčle pro artrózu třetího stupně. Operace i pooperační průběh probíhal bez komplikací. V časném pooperačním období, již na rehabilitačním oddělení se objevily známky zánětu operační rány. Za aseptických podmínek byla provedena nekrektomie rány a následná resutura dehiscence v lokální anestezii. Operační rána i přes veškerou snahu dále neprospívala, a tak byl pacient indikován k resutuře operační rány v celkové anestezii. Během léčby byl proveden stěr z rány na kultivaci a citlivost s výsledkem Staphylococcus epidermidis. Dle výsledků kultivace a citlivosti byla změněna antibiotická léčba. Kontrolní stěry z rány po reoperaci byly již sterilní, taktéž i drény z rány, které byly poslány na mikrobiologii.

A case report describes the case of a 73-year-old patient who was indicated for a total right hip endoprosthesis by reason ofa grade 3 coxarthrosis. The operation and the postoperative course were without complications. There were signs of surgicalwound in the early postoperative period at the rehabilitation department. Under aseptic conditions, necrectomy of the woundand subsequent re-suturing of the dehiscence was performed in local anaesthesia. The surgical wound, despite all the efforts,did not progress well, so the patient was indicated for re-suturing of the surgical wound under general anaesthesia. During thetreatment, a wound swab was performed for cultivation and sensitivity, with Staphylococcus epidermidis as a result. Accordingto the cultivation results and sensitivity, the antibiotic treatment was changed. Control wound swabs after the reoperation werealready sterile, as well as the wound drains which were sent to a microbiology lab.
