Arteriální hypertenze je po transplantaci ledviny častá a její léčba je běžnou součástí péče o tyto pacienty. Dle retrospektivních dat je zřejmé, že léčba arteriální hypertenze snižuje riziko ztráty štěpu ledviny. Pro cílové hodnoty krevního tlaku u pacientů po transplantaci ledviny nejsou k dispozici randomizované kontrolované studie, nejčastěji jsou uváděny hodnoty krevního tlaku < 130/80 mm Hg. Obecně lze použít v terapii všechny skupiny antihypertenziv, u některých je potřeba zvážit načasování po transplantaci a možnou interakci s imunosupresivy.

Arterial hypertension is a frequent condition after kidney transplantation and its treatment is a common agenda of the follow-up care. Retrospective data show that treatment of arterial hypertension decreases the risk of kidney graft loss. While randomized controlled trials for target blood pressures in kidney transplant recipients are not available, < 130/80 mm Hg is the most frequently mentioned value. Generally, all classes of antihypertensive drugs can be used, but it is important to consider timing after transplantation and possible interactions with immunosuppressive drugs.
