Bakteriální infekce kůže jsou jednou z nejčastějších infekčních problematik, se kterou se setkáváme v běžné dermatologické praxi. Bakteriální infekce kůže dělíme dle postižené anatomické lokality či dle vyvolávajících patogenů. Nejčastěji se setkáváme s infekcemi vyvolanými streptokoky, stafylokoky a korynebakteriemi. V této první části jsou diskutovány běžné i vzácnější projevy grampozitivních bakterií, včetně onemocnění vznikajících v důsledků produkce bakteriálních toxinů. Je kladen důraz na klinický obraz, diagnostiku a antibiotickou léčbu.

Cutaneous bacterial infections are one of the most common infectious in routine dermatological practice. Bacterial infections of the skin are divided according to the affected anatomical location or according to the causative pathogens. We most often encounter infections caused by streptococci, staphylococci and corynebacteria. In this first part, common and rarer manifestations of gram-positive bacteria are discussed, including diseases resulting from the production of bacterial toxins. Emphasis is placed on the clinical manifestation, diagnosis and antibiotic treatment.
