Vysoce nakažlivé virové (paramyxoviry, Morbillivirus) onemocnění. Inkubační doba je 1-3 týdny. Projevuje se zánětem horních cest dýchacích, horečkou, zánětem spojivek. Nápadný je výsev charakteristické vyrážky. Nemoc zanechává imunitu a očkuje se proti ní (viz Trivivac, M-M-R II lyof., Pluserix, Trimovax). (cit.
