Autor v článku popisuje zriedkavý syndróm – Kikuchiho chorobu. Patrí medzi vzácne nekrotizujúce histiocytárne lymfadenopatie. V článku porovnáva dvoch pacientov, ktorí mali úplne odlišný priebeh tohto ochorenia. Príznaky, laboratórne parametre a histopatologický nález potvrdili diagnózu, ale osud pacientov bol predsa rozdielny. Pod a literatúry benígne ochorenie môže prebiehať ľahko aj dramaticky, s kompletným vyhojením alebo s relapsami. Pôvod môže byť infekčný, autoimunitný.

The author describes a rare syndrome – Kikuchi's disease – also known as histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenopathies. The article compares two patients who had a completely different course of the disease. Symptoms, laboratory values and histopathological findings confirmed the diagnosis yet the fate of the patients still differed. According to the literature, the course of the benign disease can be bot h easy and complica- ted resulting in complete recovery or relapses. The origin may be infectious or autoimmune.

Nielen alergické choroby sú epidémiou tretieho tisícročia ale v ambulanciách teraz sú už častejšími návštevníkmi aj pacienti s poruchami imunity, hlavne sekundárnymi poruchami imunity.Ich liečba nie je jednoduchá ani ľahká, produktov dostupných je tiež málo. V práci poukazujeme na troch kazuistikách na možnosti laboratórnych vyšetrení a na úspešnosti terapie.

Not only alergies are the epidemy of the third millenium, but doctors see more frequently patients with immune system failures, especially those with secondary failures of imunity. Their treatment is not easy, effective medicaments are not always available. In this paper we focus on 3 specific cases, we analyze the possibilities of usefullness of laboratory diagnosis and the success rate of treatment of immune system failures with trasfer-factors.
