Článek analyzuje současnou situaci v sociální práci s bezdomovci v ČR a navrhuje vhodné postupy pro sociální práci s touto cílovou skupinou. Vychází z reflexe praxe sociální práce i teoretických a empirických studií bezdomovectví. Teoretickým východiskem je koncept stigmatu E. Goffmana. Článek se zabývá problematikou případové práce v kontextu strukturálních podmínek této činnosti. Autor chápe skupinu bezdomovců jako skupinu „marginálních mezi marginálními“.
The article analyzes the current situation in social work with the homeless in the country and proposes appropriate procedures for social work in dealing with this target group. It is based on the results of looking at social work practice and theoretical and empirical studies of homelessness. The theoretical starting point is the concept of stigma by E. Goffman. The article deals with the case work in the context of the structural conditions of this activity. The author understands a group of homeless people as a group of “marginal people among the marginal”.
