Uroteliální karcinom (UC) je převládajícím histologickým typem postihujícím močový systém. U pacientů s pokročilým nebo metastazujícím UC je preferovanou možností počáteční terapie kombinace enfortumab vedotin + pembrolizumab. Chemoterapie založená na platině má stále místo v léčbě metastatického onemocnění. Imunoterapie v kombinaci nebo monoterapii, konjugáty protilátek a cílené léky prokázaly povzbudivé výsledky v iniciálních a také následných liniích léčby
Urothelial carcinoma (UC) is the predominant histological type affecting the urinary system. In patients with advanced or metastatic UC, enfortumab vedotin plus pembrolizumab is the preferred initial therapy option. Platinum-based chemotherapy still has a place in the treatment of metastatic disease. Immunotherapy in combination or monotherapy, antibody conjugates, and targeted drugs have shown encouraging results in both initial and subsequent lines of treatment.
