Nimesulid v léčbě akutních bolestivých stavů v ordinaci praktického lékaře

Nimesulid je nesteroidní antiflogistikum blokující preferenčně cyklooxygenázu 2, a proto má nižší gastropatické projevy. Jeho analgetické a protizánětlivé působení je nejen periferní, ale i centrální. Dle analgetického žebříku se podává v monoterapii či v kombinacích při léčbě akutních vertebrogenních bolestí, poúrazových a pooperačních stavů nebo dysmenorey. U menstruační migrény se užívá 7denní profylaktická kúra. Nimesulid je účinný v léčbě akutního záchvatu migrény i tenzní bolesti hlavy. Je alternativou při nesnášenlivosti či kontraindikacích jiných nesteroidních antirevmatik a triptanů.

Nimesulide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug preferentially blocking cyclooxygenase 2, and therefore has a lower gastropatic manifestations. The analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity is not only central but also peripheral. According to the analgesic ladder is administered as monotherapy or in combination for the treatment of acute vertebral pain, post-traumatic and postoperative conditions or dysmenorrhea. For menstrual migraine is used seven day prophylactic cure. Nimesulid is effective in the treatment of acute migraine attack and tension-type headache. It is an alternative medication by intolerance or contraindications to other NSAIDs and triptans.
