Přínos kombinace imunoterapie a cílené léčby pro metastazující renální karcinom

Kombinace imunoterapie ať již s jinou moderní imunoterapií, či cílenou léčbou přinesly změnu v prognóze pacientů s metastazujícím renálním karcinomem. Při jejich použití se významně prodloužilo přežití bez progrese onemocnění, celkové přežití a zvýšily se počty léčebných odpovědí. V Evropě je možné použít řadu kombinací imunoterapie a cílené léčby nebo kombinace samotné moderní imunoterapie. Bohužel v České republice není situace s úhradou ze zdravotního pojištění zdaleka tak příznivá jako v jiných částech Evropy, a léčebné možnosti jsou proto poněkud omezené. V tomto přehledovém článku se budeme věnovat aktuálním výsledkům studií zkoumajících výše uvedené kombinace léčiv.

The combination of immunotherapy with other modern immunotherapy or targeted treatment changed the prognosis of patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. With the use of them, we are able to prolong significantly progression free survival, overall survival, and increased response rates. In Europe, it is possible to treat our patients with a number of combinations of immunotherapy and targeted treatment, or a combination of modern immunotherapy itself. Unfortunately, in the Czech Republic, the situation with reimbursement from health insurance is far from ideal comparing to the other part of Europe and treatment options are limited. In this review, we will look at the current results of studies investigating the above drug combinations.
