Definice

Vysoce glykosylovaný plazmatický protein o hmotnoti 44 kDa, který váže fosfolipidy včetně kardiolipinu, receptoru pro apolipoprotein E, membránových fosfolipidů a dalších skupin obsahujících aniontové fosfolipidy. Hraje roli v procesech koagulace a apoptózy. Dříve známý jako apolipoprotein H; je autoantigenem u pacientů s antifosfolipidovými protilátkami.

A 44-kDa highly glycosylated plasma protein that binds phospholipids including CARDIOLIPIN; APOLIPOPROTEIN E RECEPTOR; membrane phospholipids, and other anionic phospholipid-containing moieties. It plays a role in coagulation and apoptotic processes. Formerly known as apolipoprotein H, it is an autoantigen in patients with ANTIPHOSPHOLIPID ANTIBODIES.
