In this report we present the results of changes of general physical performance in 7-8 years old children attending the primary school at Spojova Street in Banská Bystrica. The experimental group consisted of 15 probands, 10 girls and 5 boys, who participated in Kids´ Athletics project in the academic year 2011/2012. The experimental stimulus (conditioning program) was applied two times a week in duration of 60 min during 8 mezocycles from 7th October 2011 to 29th May 2012. The Eurofit test battery was used to assess general physical performance (Moravec, Kampmiller, Sedláček et al, 2002). The initial testing was performed on 5th October 2011 and the final testing on 30th May 2012. We conclude that in the final testing we recorded higher average values for all tests except the flexed arm hang test. In the plate tapping test, sit-and-reach test, standing long jump, endurance shuttle-run and 10 x 5 m shuttle run test we recorded statistically significant changes at significance level p<0.001. On this basis, we positively evaluate children’s participation in the “Kid’s Athletics” project during the implementation of the program divided into 8 mezocycles.
Cieľom príspevku je zistiť zmeny vo vybraných kinematických parametroch na začiatku a na konci zimného prípravného obdobia RTC 2008 / 2009 u vrcholového pretekára. V práci sme použili dvojdimenzionálnu analýzu (2D), základné logické metódy a intraindividuálne výskumné sledovanie. Viliam Papšo (ďalej V.P.) bol v sezóne 2009 prvý rok pretekárom v mužskej kategórii. Výsledky potvrdili, že špeciálny tréning vykonaný na pretekovej výške prekážok vyvolal výrazné pozitívne zmeny v kinematických parametroch v prekážkovom kroku. Pozitívne zmeny vo vybraných kinematických parametroch v prekážkovom kroku, ktoré sme sledovali, sa prejavili i v zlepšení výkonnosti na 60 m prekážok a vytvoreniu si osobného rekordu. Získané kinematické parametre sme porovnávali s bývalým svetovým rekordérom v tejto disciplíne, Colinom Jacksonom, kde sme zistili značné rozdiely v rýchlosti počas prekonávania prekážky, zatiaľ čo rozdiely v technike prekonávania prekážky boli významne menšie.
The aim of article is to identify changes in selected kinematic parameters of the top racer at the beginning and at the end of the winter preparatory period YTC 2008 / 2009. In the work we used two-dimensional analysis (2D), the basic logical methods and intra-individual monitoring of research. Viliam Papšo (VP) was the first year racer in the men´s category in the season of 2009. The results confirmed that a special training conducted on the race high of the hurdles caused significant positive changes in the kinematic parameters of the hurdle step. We studied positive changes in the selected kinematic parameters of the hurdle step which are also shown in the increase of performance on 60 m hurdles and to create a personal record. Obtained kinematic parameters were compared with former world recorder in this discipline, Colin Jackson. We found significant differences in speed during the overcome of the hurdles, while the differences in the technique to overcome of the hurdles were significantly smaller.
