Global investments in the field of nanomedicine and nanotechnology drive the scientific innovations at nano level. This paper identifies the factors of Indian Healthcare which promotes (pull) and suppresses (push) the growth of nano medicine research in India. Pull factors such as shift in healthcare collaborations, strong information technology platforms, budding innovations in the field of nanomedicine and interdisciplinary approach in India’s scientific output are the potential drivers of nanomedicine research in India.
