Hlavní stanovisko práce: Cílem sdělení je podat stručný přehled v problematice hematurie u dětských pacientů v urologické ambulanci. Hematurie je tradičně definována jako přítomnost erytrocytů v moči. Spektrum příčin u dospělých i dětských pacientů je do jisté míry stejné, nicméně četnost jednotlivých příčin hematurie je odlišná. Cílem tohoto sdělení je podat stručný a do běžné urologické praxe orientovaný pohled na problematiku hematurie u dětských pacientů.

Major statement: The aim of the paper is to provide an overview about hematuria in pediatric patients in urological practice. Hematuria is defined as the presence of erythrocytes in the urine. The spectrum of causes of hematuria is the same in pediatric and adult patients. However, the frequency of the individual causes of hematuria is different in pediatric and adults patients. The aim of this paper is to provide a brief overview of hematuria in pediatric patients in urological practice.
