Text tematizuje možnosti využití participativních přístupů ze strany zdravotnických profesionálů, ale také ze strany laiků v medicíně a ošetřovatelství, tedy pacientů a jejich blízkých. Odkazuje na zásadní poznatky a výstupy projektu Erasmus plus INORP K203-CAC1B7D2 (INOvace v poskytování služeb skrze Reflexivitu a Participaci), realizovaný Fakultou humanitních studií Univerzity Karlovy ve spolupráci s partnerskými univerzitami z Belgie, Finska, Portugalska a Irska. Výstupy projektu nabízejí přehled úskalí a benefitů procesů zplnomocnění a posílení kompetencí pacientů v procesu budování vlastního zdraví, prevence onemocnění a zařazení prvků participativních přístupů do managementu ošetřovatelské péče v oblastech, ve kterých sestry získávají a v budoucnu budou ještě rozšiřovat své profesní portfolio: primární a komunitní péče, ambulance srdečního selhání při kardiocentrech. Inspirativním pro prostředí poskytování zdravotní péče v České republice může být jeden z výstupů projektu, tedy Praktická příručka participativních přístupů a možností jejich využití v sociální a zdravotní péči

The manuscript discusses the possibilities of using participatory approaches on the part of healthcare professionals, but also on the part of lay people in medicine and nursing, i.e. patients and their relatives. The text refers to the essential findings and outputs of the Erasmus plus INORP K203-CAC1B7D2 project (INOvation in the provision of services through Reflexivity and Participation), implemented by the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University in cooperation with partner universities from Belgium, Finland, Portugal and Ireland. The outputs of the project offer an overview of the challenges and benefits of the processes of empowering and strengthening the competences of patients in the process of building their own health, disease prevention and the inclusion of the elements of participatory approaches in the management of nursing care in the areas in which nurses acquire and, in the future, will expand their professional portfolio: primary and community care, heart failure ambulances at cardiac centers. One of the outputs of the project can be inspiring for the environment of health care provision in the Czech Republic: A practical guide to participatory approaches and the possibilities of their use in social and health care.
