Komprese horní čeíisti je problémem, se kterým se setkáváme ve stomatologických ordinacích velmi často. Technika rychlé expanze pátraje efektivní metodou často používanou u rostoucích pacientů. U dospělých jsou navíc nutné speciální osteotomie na přilehlém skeletu. V literatuře jsou navrženy rozdílné kombinace osteotomií. Autoři uvádějí dva případy chirurgicky asistované rychlé expanze patra, které byly provedeny rozlišným způsobem. Dosavadní zkušenosti ukazují, že metoda chirurgicky asistované RPE je účinná a autoři ji doporučují.

The narrow maxilla is an frequent condition in our surgeries. The technique of rapid maxillary expansion presents an effective measure used frequently in growing cWWren-Grown-oppatients need special osteotomies in neighbouring bones. Various combinations of osteotomies were published. Authors present two patients with the surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion, made in different way in each of them. The experience shows that the method is effective and is proposed for the use.
