Ve dnech 30. – 31. 10. 2013 proběhl na Ministerstvu vnitra ČR mezinárodní workshop v rámci projektu EUNAD k tématu potřeb lidí se sluchovým či zrakovým postižením při katastrofách. Workshop byl součástí dvouletého projektu EUNAD, na kterém spolupracují experti z evropských zemí a Izraele. Projekt se zaměřuje na implementaci a přípravu programů podpory přeživších osob s disabilitou po katastrofách. Cílem projektu je zlepšit postupy a komunikaci zasahujících policistů, hasičů, zdravotníků a psychosociálních pracovníků při práci s lidmi s postižením zraku či sluchu v nouzových situacích a při katastrofách, ale i v rámci návazné péče.
The international workshop within the EUNAD project took place from 30th to 31st of October in the seat of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. The subject was needs of people with auditory or visual handicap in disasters. The workshop was part of a two years old project EUNAD, which are experts form European countries and Israel cooperating on. The project focuses on implementation and preparation of programmes of assistance to disabled persons who survived a disaster. The aim of this project is to improve procedures and communication of intervening policemen, firemen, medics and psychosocial workers working with people with visual or hearing defect, not only in emergency or disaster, but also in following treatment.
