Definice

ATP-dependentní DNA-helikáza, která se přednostně váže na jednořetězcovou DNA. Je to heterodimer skládající se z podjednotek o molekulové hmotnosti 80 kDa (XRCC5) a 70 kDa (XRCC6). Působí s DNA-ligázou IV při opravě dvouřetězcových zlomů DNA a při V(D)J rekombinaci.

An ATP-dependent DNA HELICASE that preferentially binds SINGLE-STRANDED DNA. It is a heterodimer consisting of an 80 kDa subunit (XRCC5) and 70 kDa subunit (XRCC6) that functions with DNA LIGASE IV in the repair of DOUBLE-STRANDED DNA BREAKS and V(D)J RECOMBINATION.
