Autorky v článku popisují případovou studii pacientky, které byla indikována totální tyreoidektomie z důvodu strumy. Velká struma může působit kompresi trachey, a proto se řeší chirurgickým odstraněním.

The authors of the article describe a case of a patient who was indicated for total thyreoidectomy due to goiter. Large struma can cause compression of the trachea and has to be removed surgically.
